Toytec 3" Boss Lift Kit? Or better kits for the value

looking to add a 3" lift to my 17 Tacoma. Anyone have the Toytec Boss kit? How does it ride? Worth the money or is there better kits for the value?

What makes you want 3"?

 

I'm happy with mine. It's not a 3" kit thought. It's 2" lift for 3rd gens.

If I were to do it again, I'd go 6100 and 5160's.

 

Receiving mine's tomorrow (Boss 2.0) but I did install the same to my son's TRD 4x4 OR DCSB MT6 and the ride is awesome. Of course ride is subjective to what suits your needs but for a DD it rides great on road as well as off road. We went with blocks in the rear with the boss shocks so what you put back there does matter. We also kept the factory rake. You won't be disappointed though. $.02

 

Installed this yesterday. FYI- even though the site says the coilers are pre-adjusted to 2.5" lift, they aren't. Without the resi's, it wouldn't be an issue. On the passenger side the resi hose and 90 degree get in the way BIG TIME so it's a chore to get it adjusted. Wheels and tires tomorrow...

 

I like mine as well. Installed mine not too long ago and enjoying the ride and look.

 

I was going with this . But the thread before this said 6112 and 5160 with Dakar springs but the thread before that said icon stage 2 and tubular UCA's. But the thread before that said go with Fox !! You can't get any better , but the thread before that said best bang for your buck is Kings !!!! I was sold ...but the thread before that said OME BP-51 it's the best ! But the thread before that said sway away's !!!

What is this grille insert. New to the Tacoma world and haven't seen this one in my searches.

 

I have Boss 2.0 on my truck. Ride is great but they were on for not even a year and front shock is blown and the rear 2 shocks are rusting out already. It's been 3 weeks waiting to hear if toytec is going to stand behind thier warranty. The truck is a daily drive all highway miles I don't off road it.

What is that over your rear susp blocks? billet alum block? Never seen that before.. what is it and what does it do? TIA

Where does the website say it's pre-adjusted to 2.5" lift?

It says the kit offers 0-2" of lift and that the shock bodies are 2.5" in diameter from what I saw.

 

Looks like a bump stop spacer.
