I’m sure this is going to sound silly to many but can a 90s style Toyota pickup front end (bumper, fenders, hood, headlights etc) be converted/put into a first generation tacoma?

    Thanks

the 1995-1997 tacoma front end is very similar to the 89-95.5 Toyota pickup front end. Your better off converting to that.

You would also need to swap out the radiator support so the lights and goodies mount up with out lots of work

What year Tacoma are you needing a front clip??

Anything is possible with enough cutting, welding, hammering, and body filler. As said, the 95.5-97 is going to be the closest to the pickups, but I doubt it's going to be the same. They do have different shapes to them.

I guess we just need a little more context to figure out why this is something you're considering.

If you like the body styling of the pickups, I'm wondering if it might be less work to just swap the whole body onto a Tacoma frame/drivetrain.
