So for the past two weeks I have been trying to make a payment on the Toyota financial services I am able to enter all of the information to schedule a payment but once I submit the payment I get a prompt stating the payment failed and it recommends to call customer service. I called and asked about this issue and they say the website crashed for some reason. Two weeks later I try to make a payment again and it doesn't work. I'm just wondering if anyone one else is having a problem with he website.

I would set up automatic payments with your bank. You should be able to do that online with your account.

Good luck. I would be concerned as well.

Yeah not a happy customer with TFS, about the only nice thing I can say is it was stupid easy to refinance with my preferred lender.

Only went with TFS as my preferred institution was closed for the day and there was legitimately someone else there to buy the truck if I wasn't going to.

But boy oh boy was TFS some pain to deal with.

I pay online and have never had a problem. I would never setup Auto Pay for anything unless it was from a separate bank account funded
just for that purpose as I have heard tale from reliable sources that sometimes they just keep on taking money after the last
payment and getting that corrected takes an act of congress.

All of my online payments are from a sub-account from my standard checking and savings accounts as well, lest one of the many vendors
I pay have a data breach ( like that has never happened duh ) and some nerdy kid in his moms basement gained access to my money from
    the master accounts.

I fund the sub-account (transfer from checking to the sub account ) with enough money to pay my bills and leave $1.99 in there to keep
it active until the next time I need to pay up. If some pimple-faced kid happens upon that account he'll be $1.99 richer and I won't lose
    any sleep over $1.99....

I'm an old-school programmer who wrote code to do direct-deposits of payroll into peoples bank accounts.... and I could have very easily
inserted a row into every file submitted to pay 'me' very easily however I determined I was not built for prison life therefore I didn't do it....
but man was it fun to think about LOL ... and it is quite easy to do, but just as easy to discover. The firm I worked with also did international
transfer stuff for a major ( un-named to protect the innocent ) bank and we generated the 'code' to allow the transfers to occur ( daily ) on
the order of 100's of millions each transaction. From this bank to that bank or from this bank to that account....

I spent many a night thinking about how easily I could re-route 100's of millions but then again the idea of prison life squashed those thoughts quickly.

Try a different browser? Or if you are mobile, try a laptop / PC. I always found that site to be a little finnicky esp on mobile.

    Auto pay is no bueno.

Why trust a company with direct access to your money?

Sure it's a bit of a pita to login to 900 different sites every month and pay my bills, but the added peace of mind makes it worthwhile.

The only way I engage in autopay is for trivial purchases like Spotify or Hulu, and they are given a Privacy card, not my real banking information.

If you're a tinfoily type like myself, Privacy is definitely a service worth looking into. Although apparently some cards like the Apple AmEx allow burner numbers without a third party.

This is part of the reason why I chose a local credit union I had history with. Previous experience with random banks and accounts has never been good - especially Chase (what Subaru used when I owned one). You can always refinance for multiple reasons, simplicity being one of them.

Auto-pay rocks. Had no issues setting up with TFS and havent missed a payment yet. I login whenever just to check the remaining balance. Sorry you are having issues.

I moved last year and had an issue setting up a payment with a utility. I called them several times and they said I was putting in the wrong account number. Since I use this account for all bills I insisted I was not.

Finally called my bank and they told me exactly what account digits the utility was using to try to pull the payment, which were incorrect. Funny part is I had to enter the account number twice and it had to match on the utility payment website. So I was entering it wrong twice (digits were blocked with ##### once I entered so I could not visually see they were wrong)

Maybe contact your bank and ask them if they see the attempt. They may be able to see why it is failing. Good Luck.

Same thing happened to me. I wasn't planning on buying the truck that day but 2 different guys came to look at it while I was there.
The first guy was waiting on me to get back from my test drive so he could test drive it. Whenever I got back I told him I was taking it home.
Then while I was inside talking numbers another guy pulled in and was checking it out and wanted to test drive it. So I'm really glad I didn't wait any longer whenever I decided to go look at it.
I financed through TFS, made 1 payment, then refinanced it through my local credit union.

I don't like auto-pay either. First thing I do at the beginning of each month or end of each month is go to all my online bills and "Schedule" the next payment even if its 25 days out. That way I know I did it, it's scheduled and I won't miss it. But no, don't like auto-pay. Schedule those payments out in advance so you don't forget them and have peace of mind...in case you forget them. Haha.
