So I am at a loss as to where I go. I have been working on getting this fixed for about 6 months now. I have a 17 4R and my Tacoma, both are financed with Toyota. A few months ago, I somehow got locked out of my account for the 4R. I have talked to them probably 20 times now and have spent hours. The password reset feature does not work. It takes me to the correct screen to change it, but the submit button does not work. I have verified the complexity rules and have tried to use the same pass that I have on my truck account. I have spent a lot of time on the phone with them trying things. They were supposed to just merge the accounts so I have both vehicles in one, but this is now going on 3 months and they can't get that to work either. I have not got one single call back. I have to call them every time to follow up and start from teh beginning. Paying by phone is a damn painful process. I can't get in to see what I owe, payoff, etc. Any ideas on who to involve to get it fixed? I am well past frustrated.

I'm sure you've tried this already but have you used a different browser? I had similar issues with an account (not Toyota) in Chrome but it worked like normal in IE. Other than that no idea man... good luck.

Call the support line daily until they are annoyed enough to fix it. After your next bill cycle, call them three times a day.

Chrome, FF, Edge, Safari, Brave, and on my laptop, desktop, ipad, S20, and Android tab. It's crazy. They also had me try on the Lexus financial site. Same results.

Please post your full name, address, SSN, and mother's maiden name and we will get it fixed for you. Or just call TFS and have them escalate the issue? Don't waste time with their L1 support.

That's what I started doing. They call me about payment now, but it hasn't done much. I told them I'll pay after they fix my login, but I am in the process of a house refi and I can't afford a 30 day late. It has been escalated, but I think I need to make a bigger deal about it and take it on up the line. I was trying not to be an ass hole, but I am out of motivation for that.

Sounds like you've been more than patient. At this point be an asshole, make a lot more noise...if all else fails I would see what it would take to refi and just get that loan balance somewhere else that can service it properly

They still take checks! Or set up your payments on a reoccurring basis.

Even better, pay them off and not be worried about Tacoma Financial.

I may have to take that far. I reserved a Bronco and if final pricing is where I want it, I'll trade in the 4R. If not, the 4R will get a full build this winter. I need the truck for truck stuff, but the 4R has maybe 1k miles this year to date. Just blown away that they can't figure this out.

It really is incredible they're making it difficult for you to give them money. It's something I'll never understand about a $400B company that makes it harder for you to pay them.

Yeah, I have never seen this level of incompetency from a financial institution. I even hit their twitter account for help.

I'm sure they are lower. Bought the 4R in 16. Worth it if I keep it.

Check credit unions near you, they typically offer better rates than most banks

I would make lots of noise with them and not give up. I had an issue with Sallie Mae years ago they kept applying my payment all to one loan and then calling and harassing me about being late on the other when money was sent for both loans I had. After months and months of it I opened up a all my frustrations on them. I had to handed up to the highest supervisor because I made the first employee literally cry because she couldn't fix it and get my payment applied correct and insisted I needed to pay again. That was the last time it happened. I'm normally a nice guy and slow to anger but they got it that day. Maybe thats how you have to be.
Or threatening to refinance it and follow through if they don't fix it with both loans.

I have Toyota credit too for my truck and so far I've had no issue. I will say dealing with my local credit union would be better but they did match their loan offer. Toyota aren't as flexible with payment options, I paid my credit union for my last vehicle bi weekly on payday it was done by automatic payment too. I had to hack a way to do it with billpay sending half in to Toyota credit every two weeks because it is not an option with Toyota credit.
