Does anyone know if the Toyota “factory” bed rail bike mounts are still available anywhere? A few years ago I saw a fork mount bike attachment in the exact same threaded twist mount style as the bed rail cleats that come with our trucks. No joy on an internet search and the parts guy at our dealer had no idea what I was asking for. Go figure...

Rocky mounts are by far the best. Cost a little more but worth every penny.

Do you have QR or thru axles? Rocky mounts has both covered. If you have a bed cover, it gets a little more complicated

also, you will need a front rail for your bed. It’s the same as the 2nd gens, 35 bucks on Amazon. Bolts are already in your bed.

Here’s what I was looking for. Discontinued part but I found one on eBay. Thanks for the tips.

I use the inno Velo mounts. They slide right into the C-Channel and lock in place. Strap to my fork and rears of the bike. No movement and only $80 on Amazon. Had them on my Sierra too. They are are great.

I ride a long travel Diamondback Mission Pro. Even with the factory fox 36 forks they work. They don't cup the fork bc of the size but they still work great. Strap the rear to the chain stay and good to go. I love how easy one and off it is. A lot of my pals use them now over big racks for local riding and what not.

Lol, I HAD TO POST.... I am a devoted anti-bike person simply because bike radicals, who make up abput 0.0000000000000001% of a cities population have screwed all of us by forcing the removal of traffic lanes for bike lanes.

The funny part is, I'm getting a free trip to this years Colorado Classic in Vail, lol! Which ironically, any of the bike fanatics would kill for and can't afford to go... I'm like... heh, nuttin' else to do that weekend, so taking the free trip, getting a Turo FJ, skipping the stupid bike race and going explore Colorado! Lol!

This is my setup. 4 Rockymounts for both thru axle and quick release. I haul both kinds of bikes regularly.

Probably not directly what you were looking for, but might give you ideas for a custom mount.

I just finished these up this morning and took it for a 10 mile spin up the road @50-60mph to check on wind noise (none), wobble, (none) and side view restriction (very very minimal if any).

These will allow me to carry both MTBs now and tow my small off road trailer without a hitch mounted bike rack.

Her bike is less than a 1/4" from the awning at both ends. However, it doesn't move.

I jacked the ratcheting straps off the boot bindings from a $29 snowboard that I picked up at my local Goodwill.

Can see along side the truck just fine through the side mirror.

If I loosen the handle bar clamps and clock them to be inline with the frame, I could load two Hobie kayaks in between the bikes. I honestly don't know when I would ever do that though, as my kayaks would certainly ride on my trailer if I went camping somewhere that has trails and water to play on.

I ran across this a while back and bookmarked it. I have the factory tri-fold tonneau so this would work with that. Maybe of interest to someone although I have no first hand experience with it yet.

My current set up consists of bolting a couple of fork mounts to a plank of wood and slotting it into the wheel wells. The rear tires nestle into the bed grooves and everything is nice and tight. BUT I do have to remove the cover.
