There isn't a "Other Cars" section, so I will post here.

(This has nothing to do with Tacoma, as we already know there will be no V6.)

It looks there will be a Lexus ES350 for 2024.

It's also on the Lexus website now.

Do you think this V6 engine will continue in the near future? Will ES be "exclusive" for a few more years like the 4-Runner and the 4.0L V6? I can understand the 4-Runner's case as they are made in Japan. But the ES is made in the same factory as the Camry in Kentucky, no?

They’ll be back in a few years when the EV’s and turbo 4 bangers don’t sell.

I made this thread a long time ago. Glad to see the 3.5L V6 is still around. Lexus ES (V6) has always been a car I wanted for 3 decades. Nothing against the 4 cylinder turbo, or hybrid. Just want that "last call" vehicle. Still can for 2025, but I don't need a new car yet.

Love or hate the 3.5 it's impressive how versatile it can be. In my parent's Sienna it's fine. It the Tacoma it's loud and agricultural. I'm sure Lexus refined it or threw a lot of NVH magic at the ES to make it acceptable.
