    Hi,

I wanted to see if anyone has put Toyo Open Country CT's on there truck?

What are your thoughts on the ride quality and noise?

    Thanks for your help!

I'm actually getting some installed in a few days and can report back. Seemed like a great Colorado tire for year round use as I will frequently be in the mountains headed skiing and these are snowflake rated.

    @JonnyGonePlaid

Just installed them on my Taco....They are really nice tires.

Spoke to the guys in the shop and they were all running them on there trucks over the K02's and the Nitto's.

    Thanks anyways though!

Well for anyone else wondering I am impressed with these tires as well. Minimal vibration, drives straight and nice and smooth. I'll report back after some snowy driving up to Winter Park and Copper (if we get snow this year in CO). Really excited to have an aggressive looking snowflake rated tire that isn't a Geolander or KO2.

Side note I was able to get a credit back for my Cooper ST MAXX in LT255/80r17 as they were defective and pulled violently to the right. They were beasts off-road but the damn things just couldn't drive straight.

Any updates on the Toyo Open Country C/T?? I did a search and this is the only thread I could find, seems like maybe not that popular of a tire. If anyone else is running the Toyo Open Country C/T please leave a review.

I would only run CT's if you do a lot of country/gravel road driving. They are rugged but will be loud and wear poorly without the weight of a heavy truck.

City I would suggest AT2. Offroading MT.

Just looking for an update, I see they come in a size of 285/75r16 in a C-load rating.

I have about 30k on them. They are 6 ply which is a pretty decent sidewall and I have been to Death Valley twice, Mojave Road 3 times, plus all over forest roads. They’ve been great, have not chipped much. My 2018 has 98k so I drive a lot of highway and I’ve got no complaints. I’ll buy them again.

    ...I'm gonna necro this thread...

Just wondering if any one has a long term review of these tires. I like the idea of the C load rating that is available for these in the 285/75r16 size, as well as the snowflake rating.
    - Just wondering how they wear over the long term on a light truck.
    - How well they perform in snow and ice on and off road
    - Noise level, new and as they wear

Had mine for years and loved them. I’d still have them on my 3rd Gen tundra but they don’t make 37’s for 17” wheels

I was looking at these a few years back for the same reason, I didn’t realize they still make them.
