I have a spare tire I’m trying to sell to someone but I’m not sure what to tell him about how much tread is left, wondering if anyone can help. I looked it up and I know the original depth is 21 32nds but I have no idea what that means. After measuring my own tire, i have 1cm left of depth

21/32nds = 1.66cm or 0.656in would be the stock depth if what you say is true. You're currently at 25/64ths = 1cm or 0.394in is what I'm guessing. Hopefully that's right, did it quickly on google cause I'm lazy, lol.

    Original tread: 21/32 in = 0.656 in
    Remaining tread: 1cm = 0.393 in
    Wear bar height = 2/32 in = 0.0625 in

    (0.393in - 0.0625in) / 0.656in = 50.3% Tread Remaining

Found a helpful vid. I was starting to realize 1/32nd is a fraction for an inch. I was about to go buy a tire measurement tool but with your help I won’t need to. Thank you

4/32" or 1/8" is the legal minimum but off road tires effectiveness will greatly diminish long before that. Looking at the picture I would be more concerned with tire rot or tires age.
