Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
In what way is it “night and day”? Thanks.

I put the Cooper AT3, E series tires on it. Much more solid ride. I also thought they were much better in what little snow we got this year. And, as I said, the Wrangler Kevlar tires only had 23,000 miles on them. Had I known what a difference it would have made, I would have replaced them sooner.

Nice! I have intentions of de-badging when we get ours. Any mods done to the 15tb? Ive got one reserved, hoping it comes in in time for our Yelly trip this summer...

As an owner of a 2021 15TB, I have only found power capabilities as being something I am wanting to modify (at this time). I am upgrading to 340AH of lithium batteries and have installed a soft-start for the A/C so that I won't have any need to carry anything more than a 2200w genny when off grid. I have been impressed with the build quality and offroad capabilities so far. I am currently building a custom battery box for the lithium batteries and will post pix when completed. I did add an overland solar 130w panel to augment the factory 190w roof panel. The 15TB is a pretty nice unit right off the floor. Put it to use for a few nights (I have over 30 nights out since my purchase in late 2020) and determine how it works for you before looking at any changes - it is a pretty nice unit right off the showroom floor.

Thanks bunches! If It gets in before our trip (fingers crossed) it will be *just* in time, so no mods for first trip... And just in case it doesn't:annoyed:, I should probably start looking for a rental from a TW friend that's in the Yelly area :broccoli:

Nice trailer. I'm getting a 21 Geo Pro 19fd next week. I believe it is similar to the E Pro. I'm looking for a WD system. Which model is your Blue Ox?

I've been very happy with mine. It's a Blue Ox SwayPro. Tongue weight: 750 lbs - 1,000 lbs.

Nice set up. I was looking at the E-pro camper website but no mention of prices, would mind sharing what one like yours would cost?

Any update from you guys who were getting or planning on getting a new geo pro/e-pro? I recently traded up to a tundra for tow duties and have had the 15tb out twice. No good pix, but had fun. Wanting to hear about ya'lls experiences.

Bringing this thread back to life a bit, I hope. Is everyone still liking their Rockwood Geo Pro 15TB? Is it holding up OK? I am actively shopping for Rockwood Geo Pro 15TB now. Inflation and market frenzy has driven the cost up and availability is scarce. We found one at an RV show last month, but the show sale price was like $28K. More than I want to spend. I may have found a 2021 slightly used and a new 2022 at a much better price. Nothing solid, have not heard back from either of those dealers yet.

My intended tow rig is a pretty much stock Gen 3, 2018 taco SR5 with the V-6, auto tranny and tow package, with blue sumo springs in the rear. I do have the factory tranny oil cooler installed as well. Currently towing a cargo camper conversion, like towing a big sheet of plywood down the road, its a flat face rig and has a lot of wind resistance. About 2600 lbs loaded up with all the hunting gear. Gas milage sucks, 10 to 13 mpg range. Mostly 10mpg range as we live in WA state and have plenty of hills and mountains around us to travel through. I am hoping to get a little better mpgs with the Geo Pro, I know towing and good gas milage don't normally go hand in hand, but an increase would certainly be nice.

I have read through a bunch of threads on here, good reading and a lot of info. Still needing and thinking about Break controllers and weight distribution hitches. It seems like many of the hitches are pretty heavy. Is that the norm?

I would have replied sooner, but I don't hang out here all that often since selling the Taco.

28K seems a little pricey when compared to what a 2021 model could be had for back in 2020, but like used car pricing, RVs have jumped up in demand and pricing. Just be sure that whether new or used, go over the trailer closely and check to ensure all systems are functioning as they should be.

Regarding towing mpg - I don't think you will see any better results with the GeoPro over your cargo camper conversion. I never tracked the exact towing mpg with the Taco and the Geo, but 11-12 was probably pretty darn close. I towed predominantly in mountains pretty much every trip out...actually other than running around town and commute to work, every trip is in the mountains/canyons/etc for me.

WDH - they all are pretty heavy. I have have only used the Equalizer brand on several previous trailers and tow vehicle and there is definitely some heft to it. There are many other quality brands out there. Do your research and factor in whatever setup you decide on to your tow vehicles stock weights when loading up.

If you do end up with the GeoPro, I anticipate you will be happy with it. I have owned my 15TB since Aug/Sep 2020 and have put a few months of use exclusively off-grid and it has been pretty damn reliable. I am looking at a small upgrade in trailer size, but was definitely not impressed with what I saw (quality wise) at the last 2 RV shows i went to. Currently looking hard at the Black Series HQ15, just need to get through some medical concerns before upgrading.

Yeah, currently fighting the Big C, hopefully things continue to look on the upside so the wife and I can plan on more than a 1-2year timeframe.
    Enjoy that 16BH!!

We are enjoying the G16BH. Up next is the lithium-ion upgrade, solar, and :thumbsup:inverter.

I think the market is pretty high right now. Maybe the high gas prices will convince some folks to start selling, not sure. But I think I am going to wait and see what the market does. I getting ready to go into retirement, so I don't want to be spending too much. I can hang out in the cargo camper for another season or two. Besides its paid for. Here is a couple pics. 2250lbs is what it weighes fully loaded. Its nothing fancy,[IMG] [IMG]

Bumping the thread back to the top. Anybody getting their 15TB (or any other trailer) on lately. Have only gotten ours out once this season, as the trails were pretty treacherous where I like to camp. Heading back out over fathers day.

    Hope y'all are doing well.

Glad to hear you are getting out. So, far we are getting some much needed rain up here state wide in Washington, so hopefully the fire season will be much better than in recent years. We have gotten the cargo camper conversion out a few times so far. Just started retirement this week, so I expect to do more camping and traveling, although we might be spending more time in the Pacific Northwest closer to home. I have been thinking of a semi overland trailer build to haul behind my Tacoma, that would get me off the beaten path a bit more and do some tent camping. Prices of everything and availability is continuing to put a damper on any RV purchase.

It's definitely nice to be feeling as good as I do and I am happy that I have the energy so soon to get back out in the backcountry! I feel better than I have in years and adapting to a urostomy was pretty easy. According to the Drs, i had the best possible outcome from the chemo and surgery. Still some long term things to keep an eye on, but chemo kicked cancers ass and after surgery I am cancer free.

Down here I am not holding my breath for a mild fire season, I see limited to no open fires for this season. Hopefully we can get some of the rain that y'all are getting in the PNW. Congrats on retirement, hope you can get out there a lot this season and enjoy the outdoors! From the looks of your cargo trailer conversion, I bet you will be able to put together a nice overland setup. I hear you on the prices, I was looking at possibly upgrading my current setup, but will probably continue to enjoy what I have and see how the things shake out on the economic/RV pricing front. It is crazy what I am seeing these days for even a trailer like the 15TB!

    Cheers,
    Scott

Yesterday I saw a 30' RV towing a 20' cabin cruiser, all I could think about was how much that must cost to use. Both pieces looked new, presumably it was RV/Boat dealership moving some units around.
