Trying to figure out which towing package I have. Going to be pulling a 21' Key West Bay reef with 150 Mercury Outboard, and tandem trailer....Probably just under 3,000 pounds so should be good to go. The owner's manual chart shows my model code as GRN245L-PRADKA but I am not sure which load capacity to look at. The truck does have the towing hitch and trailer 7-pin connector wiring harness. Unless, the towing hitch and 7-pin connector means, "Yes, jackass. You have a 11170lb GCWR and 6500lb towing package."

These are the things to look for to see if you have the factory tow package. Obviously, you will only have the transmission cooler if you have an automatic trans.

Yes! I had a bad camera angle...both of those lines in the picture you highlighted with the red arrow ( the red arrow line and the one just to the lower right) are both going to what I see now as the cooler...

So all this means I have which load capacity??? Even though I'm still pulling about 3200 pounds.

Thank you so much for the help!

You definitely have the factory tow package. I have always understood that the factory tow package gets you a 6500 lb tow rating. I've never seen anyone mention the 6400 lb tow rating. It doesn't really matter though. You shouldn't be towing 6400 lbs with a Taco anyway. 5000 to 5500 is more realistic. Glad to help you out.

Thanks hemitruk...I was thinking that the asterisk and the # would be on the info plate...that's what was really throwing me off. Had a bad view angel to took for the tranny cooler but when I looked in front of the radiator instead of on top I could see it there.
