    Is there a way to keep the brightness on the touch-screen to stay 'bright' when the headlights are turned on? First time last night driving, and the screen went so dim, I could hardly see it.
    Is it a 'button' thing (Which I couldn't find after messing with it) or is it a 'de-programming' the computer thing? Or is it a 'Gotta live with it' thing?
    This is the first thing I've found on my new rig that I really, really dislike.

    There's a Day Mode option in the settings.

    Just sat in the rig for 20 minutes ... Not finding it.
    2020 maybe different settings/options? Or that I bought Bare Bones? IDK ...

    The 2020 SR uses the 2016-2019 infotainment system. 2020+ SR5-TRD Pro use a new system for apple car play. There is a setting for it somewhere, but I don't think it'll increase the brightness w/ headlights on.

    It should be set to switch to night mode when the lights are on and its dark out. These settings are covered in the manual.

    okay so apparently there is a day mode button, but it only appears w/ headlights or parking lights on. Also, they only brighten the display, not the other buttons such as “audio, apps, home, seek•track, etc...

    THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
    I got it after fiddle-farting with it. You probably saved me from having to read 67 pages of ... 'Manual' ... (Ugh..)
    I never in a million years would have thought to adjust the display setting AFTER the headlights were turned on. (Who would?)
    Anyway, got the brightness/contrast adjusted to where I can SEE it now with the headlights turned on.. I'd still like it to be as bright as 'daytime' brightness, (A 'me' thing) .. But it is absolutely workable now.
    Again, THANK YOU. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    You have to click menu and at the bottom right of the screen is a small display settings button. Click that. It’s hard to see when the screen is dark but it’s there.

    Dude, it shouldn’t take anyone longer than 4 minutes tops to find anything using the table of contents or the index in the manual. Come on.
