My truck is an 18’ Cement OR and is currently stock. I just paid it off and it’s time for upgrades. I have TC UCA that I purchased a few years back and my wheels are Volk TE37xts 17x8.5 -10 with Yokohama Geolandar MT g006 285/75/17 uninstalled.
My plan is to run Kings 2.5 ext non adjusters with icon rxt leafs. My dilemma is wether I should keep the TC UCA or buy SPC UCA for the extra adjustability for caster to make the 285/75/17s fit. I do know I will have to do a cmc, hammer pinch welds and trim fenders.

I will be doing moderate wheeling here in NC area and will eventually head west for some real fun.

Going to be hard for anyone to chime in unless they have your exact same setup and tire/wheel combo. If you already have the tires/wheels mounted... you may want to bolt the front on and cycle the steering to see how it clears now. You can always use that for mockup now and start trimming/cutting to make them fit. SPC arms can certainly help push those tires forward more, however some alignment shops may give you a hard time when they see those and have to spend the time figuring out how to set them up. If your TC arms are somewhat new, you could always sell those. When you're ready to get shocks on order, let us know, happy to help

My truck is still stock, I don’t have anything currently installed, everything is new. TC UCAs are still in box.

Ah... I see. Going to be really hard for anyone to provide you with accurate info unless they have done the exact same thing. We have done plenty of installs with Kings, Total Chaos UCA, but wheel and tire sizes vary a lot

Since you already have the TC's, stick with those. If for some reason you can't hit your desired caster, then you can change them out for SPC's. Plenty of people are running similar setups with TC's and have no issues.

The adjustability of SPC's is nice, but a competent alignment shop will get your TC's where you want them.

Now... as for maintenance, those TC's are a Ferrari, where the SPC's are a Toyota. They aren't sexy, but the SPC's will require less maintenance and most likely provide all the performance you need, unless you're desert racing.

    Good luck!

Thanks bro, I will keep them for now. My local guy recommended to go with SPCs but I told him I already have TCs and he said should I should be fine. We’ll just have to do the normal required trimming, cutting etc. to make everything fit.

Push hard on your alignment guy to hit 4° of caster. Let us know how it turns out. Sounds like you're going to have a killer setup.

Nice! I know from first hand experience that the Cement and matte blue combo is stunning.

You’ll easily be okay with the TC. When I just had TC UCA the shop had me at over +3 caster. But def keep up with maintenance on the bushing every 5k or less.

the last time I was at the shop they tried to refuse the truck. They thought I had SOC since someone before had come in with them. Once it’s set you don’t have to change them but that could happen. They usually have no issues with TC. But there is an order. I believe it’s set tie and camber to 1 or 0 then crank the caster out. I always forget but way back when TC used to include instructions on setting alignment.

either way will be solid choices

Lol his truck is where I got my inspiration from! I originally wanted bronze or matte blue gunmetal in the 18” but I didn’t want to put 18s on my truck. I do much prefer the concave look of the 18s and wish they came in 17”.

I’ve been doing much research since I originally purchased my truck. I told myself and the wife that I won’t do any major upgrades until I’ve paid it off. Did it 3 yrs early and have been eagerly waiting for this time to come. She’s letting me have at it now. I’m still being patient as I know parts do take some time to come by. I got lucky on my wheels and only waited 17 days from ordering.

I've got almost 4° of caster without using the adjustability of the SPCs, you should be all good

Total chaos are nice, but from what I remember SPC UCA have more adjustment in the camber axis. Please chime in If this is wrong anyone. I run 265 75 R16 without issue on the total chaos. If you’re running bigger look for UCA which allow for more camber adjustment.
