I'm about to pull off my TRD skid plate to decal it up. Anyone know the torque specs of the bolts that hold this thing up? From what I have found, FJ and Tundra skid plates are 21 ft/lbs while the 2nd gen Tacos are 22 ft/lbs. These are values for stock skid plates. The TRD plate is a bit beefier so I'd like confirmation of the torque values.

    Thanks in advance!

*EDIT* Found the insert page in my take home folder. For future reference:

The torque specification guide doesn't specifically have a torque spec for the TRD skid vs. regular skid. 22 ft/lbs. is all it describes.

Torque specs are based on the bolts and threads they go into more so than what's in between the two.

Unless there's something notably different about the bolts used on the TRD Pro skid and the threads they go into I'd expect the torque spec to be the same.

EDIT: above posted before seeing the install sheet. whoops.

Nice! Kinda weird that Toyota doesn't mention it at all in the mechanics guide from Toyota. Good find.

Yea I know, thats why I saved mine. Really at 22 all around it would have been likely fine regardless I saved my sheet for this exact reason.
