What is this bolt and what is the proper torque for it? There is one on the top and bottom of the caliper. I accidently removed it while meaning to remove the bolts that hold the caliper to the knuckle.. D'oh!

    Yes
Well...those bolts hold the two halves of the caliper together, not sure of the torque spec but I would guess loctite would be a good idea as anything brake related receives constant vibration.

Hmmm.. I've looked at quite a few diagrams and still can't seem to find the torque

91 ft lbs. is what my haines manual says.

ETA: Confirmed it in the torque spec guide here too.

Sounds good, I know the caliper bolts to knuckle were 90 ft lbs, wasn't sure what these ones were. Thank you

I dont see it listed in the factory manual. When I rebuilt mine, I just used guttentite and they've gone thousands of miles with no problems.

That is a good link, but those bolts the OP is referring are not listed. The two caliper bolts that the link shows, is the two 19mm bolts that hold the caliper to the knuckle. The OP is referring to the other two 19mm bolts. The photo actually shows one of these bolts, right next to the bleeder valve but does not list the torque specs.

I also accidently removed one of these bolts while changing a wheel bearing and was curious if anyone knew the correct torque. The other 19mm caliper bolts are 91ftpd, but I didn't feel comfortable putting that much on these so I just snugged them back nice and tight. 2 grunts and a fart can be dangerously close to 2 grunts and a shart. Please be careful.

Make sure you locktite them, I just did the same thing. Accidentally removed these bolts thinking they held the caller on, once I realized my mistake I tightened them down no problem, but 1 week later here I am missing one bolt that is holding my caliper together. Best part is toyota doesn't sell it period. Time to pull out the on that is still there and match it up at ace hardware.

    It’s about 85lbs. I tested on ones I didn’t remove.
