Topping off transmission fluid

Going to do this myself since I dont really trust the work of dealership techs. Was able to find a pretty detailed writeup on TW for the 2nd gen.

Wondering if the part about getting into Temp Check mode is the same for the 3rd Gen as far as the OBD connector goes. Any pointers appreciated in advance. Thanks

Thanks, thats the one I'm looking at. Wondering if the connector position to "jump" it into that check mode is the same for the 3rd gen. I'm sure all else is the same but not sure about that part. I don't want to short anything should they decide to change the OBD connector configs.
