Toppers from other vehicles that fit a 2nd gen LB?

Are there toppers off of other vehicles that fit a 2nd gen taco long bed, like the 6 foot topper off of a older tundra or even rangers?

 

You may find one with right right length and width but the problem with using a shell from a different truck is that all the curves don't match up IE: the curve where the back of the cab and front of the shell meet and if you are looking from the back of the truck the shape of the cab vs the shape of the shell. IMO a shell that does not fit properly looks horrible...

 

if you see one that would fit your bed on a used taco ask to buy it. You would be suprised many lots will for a decent cash deal. I got mine for 300 off a taco heading to auction..

 

I got mine from Craigslist. I'd think your best bet to find one that would work from something other than a Tacoma would be T100, 1st gen Tundra, Dodge Dakota.

 

I really doubt a topper from another truck would fit properly.

 

Does anyone have pictures of a dodge Dakota cap on a second gen Tacoma?
