TOOLCY Foam Cannon and Pressure Washer Gun

If you're looking for a budget option to upgrade your pressure washer gun and add a foam cannon to your detailing repertoire, I was very pleasantly surprised by the construction and performance of these items. I wanted a stubby gun that didn't break the bank and a more effective foam cannon than the Ryobi model I bought with my pressure washer, and these did not disappoint.

The gun is remarkably heavy, giving an impression of a solid and durable construction. It included the adapters necessary to connect it to my pressure washer's M22-14mm hose, as well as all the standard spray nozzles typically included with products like this. It also has the swivel at the hose connection point, which if you've never experienced, you will quickly come to appreciate once you do! The trigger required no more effort to use than the one included with my pressure washer. Accessories are connected using the standard 1/4" quick connects found on most pressure washers above entry level. Spray patterns and pressure were as expected for use with a 1900 psi, 1.3GPM pressure washer. I would be hard pressed to name a single con for this particular gun.

The foam cannon looks nearly identical to the popular MJJC model preferred by many professional detailers. I've never used an MJJC, but I would be hard pressed to believe it performs much better than this one did! I added about 2oz of Chemical Guys Mr. Pink soap and filled the reasonably sized container the rest of the way with water (a task made very easy by the wide opening on the top of the bottle!) and set the adjustment knob to the maximum foam setting. It produced a very thick, rich foam that clung to the paint extremely well (probably a hallmark of the Mr. Pink soap as much as the foam cannon itself) and I had no trouble washing an entire mid-sized sedan with the capacity in the attached bottle. If I could make just one adjustment to the design here it would be to replace the filter on the end of the pickup tube with a weighted one like the aforementioned MJJC model uses, as it does have a bit of trouble picking up the last bit of product in the bottle when nearing its end. I know some mention replacing the orifice with a 1.1mm if using a lower GPM pressure washer like mine, but I did not find that necessary in my use case at all! The cap is plastic, not brass like some of the higher end units, but it appears well constructed and I don't anticipate any longevity issues provided the unit is properly cared for and stored.

Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this kit to anyone looking for an affordable upgrade option for their pressure washing setup. Couple with with a higher quality hose and quick connect kit for attaching everything to the pressure washer itself, I truly believe this would functional well even in a professional environment!
