I’m looking at purchasing the Voodoo high rise cross bars so I can put a RTT on the bed of the truck and not lose the secure tonneau. I would love to see photos of similar config and I have a few questions:

    1. I’m assuming mounting the RTT in this configuration causes total blockage of rear view mirror? I see this as the main negative to mounting to the bed vs higher up.

    2. On the benefit side will I have less drag behind the cab vs up higher?

    3. Any feedback on the smitty? Seen the buy once cry once comments regarding going for a Treeline or the likes but budget is a concern.

Again would love pics of the bed level + tonneau setups open or closed.

What are the part numbers for the parts to work with a tonneau cover?

Me too I just worry about the loss of back window if it stays on permanently. I suppose I could do like others and get a garage rope or pulley system but not really looking to spend that type of money.

How do you like your Tuff Stuff? If I remember my research correctly it is identical to the Smitty?

I love it, I’m not sure. I went with them because they have great deals, great customer service, and are local to me.

When you say local how local? I see you are in LA , I'm on the Central Coast near SLO. If you could point me to a contact that would be awesome.

JVill4 - that setup looks awesome. It looks like the Voodoo rails would work with a Bakflip cover - I have the MX4.
Also, I don't mean to change topic but JVill4, what rock rails do you have?

I can’t confirm that for you maybe @KB Voodoo can chime in.

The rock sliders are from Demello Offroad

Did that cover relocate your factory accessory rail?
