So i am picking up my Taco tomorrow from the dealer, first truck and first new car ever. Coming from our family Sienna I am stoked!

I am big into biking and skiing so was planning on installing something similar to the Voodoo Hi-Rise bars across the bed, to be able to mount my Thule roof box or bikes. The original rails need to remain in place which takes out covers like the Bakflip MX4

Biggest struggle has been which tonneau to move forward with and generally speaking I get the sense they all leak at some point. Has anyone had any experience with the Dura Flip? Its Canadian but looks similar to the Extang 2.0 but appears to have better seals.

One of the larger concerns is water infiltration, again I know I should anticipate some and plan to order some weather stripping. I have also seen mixed reviews on the Undercover Ridgelander and still leaning towards a hardtop folding.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Curious what led you to these four, have you looked at the Retrax XR? or did the rails needing to remain discount that one like it did the BakFlip?
I'm in a multiple skis/snowboards to the ski hill situation, but want the bars for a RTT I will likely not use enough to justify.

I'll keep researching as well, good luck with your tonneau cover selection.

My understanding is the Voodoo Hi-Rise cross bar rails and clips require the OEM bed rails to remain for attachment. The Retrax system looked nice as well, just here it seemed to be priced out at double the price of a typical folding hardtop tonneau. Also to be honest I am still researching and reading review in terms of water resistance for the Retrax.

    Thanks

I too have been looking for a tonneau cover and have considered the Dura Flip and the Bison. Pictures/videos/reviews are hard to find but I'm going with the Dura Flip (get it in 3 days) so I'll post some pics. The Bison is cheaper and the Google reviews seem good but my Dad has had a Dura Flip on his F150 for about a year (through a Southern Ontario winter) and he loves it. That review holds a little more weight with me.

Here are two pics of the Canadian made (Alberta) Dura Flip Tri-Fold tonneau cover.
