Do you guys know of any bed covers that you can install while still keeping the bed rail? I have both and it takes a while to swap them out. It'd be nice to have the cover option when I need it and the bed rails when i need them.

Extang Solid Fold 2.0 uses the rails for the install.

I have yet to install my BAK Revolver, but it relocates the rails a little bit lower so you can use them still. Should hopefully get it installed tonight.

The undercover flex uses the rails and covers them completely

You search the mod-list, but don't find anything of interest.
Extang revolution soft-roll up tonneau cover attaches to the bedrails; you can have bedcleats in but they can't be easily removed(front one seems to be trapped unless you disassemble the cleat or the tonneau bracket, back one just needs the end cap removed off the rail and it can be slid out) but still accessible to attach ties to.

Tyger T5 hard tonneau, Amazon, $499. Uses 3 rail inserts to install. They also make a soft cover that's under $200 (T3)

Truxedo Truxport. Great option for a soft roll up tonneau and gives full bed access when rolled up. I have this and am very happy with it.

Im selling my Access Original Rollup, which installs to the rails. Didnt take pics before i removed it, but i installed the brackets at the ends of the rails so the bed cleats could still slide up and down the majority of the rail. Worked great, and i highly recommend the cover.

    My 2 cents:
I have had an Undercover rigid tonneau for 10 years. It uses the rail system for mounting. But rails are still available for tiedown or other uses.
Undercover rigid is easy to remove with 2 people and I even have a “one-man” method in a pinch.

I have a Extang Exceed that allows you to keep the bed rails, however, they are remounted a couple of inches lower than original. It hasn't been an issue for me so far, however, it may be an issue for those that have bed specific rail accessories.

I’ve had the BakFlip G2 previously and currently have the BakFlip MX4. They both keep the rails but they’re relocated just a bit lower with an included bracket. I like the MX4 better
