I just took my 2016 Offroad with a CBI Bed Rack down to Dave's Tonneau Cover in Aurora, CO to work with them on getting a Truxedo, LoPRO tonneau cover to fit. As many of you may already know once you put a bed rack on it gets more difficult to have a roll up tonneau cover. Especially when you have a bed rack with less than dead vertical rails. Dave's Tonneau Covers is top notch and has been in the business since the early days of tonneau covers. After starting with the original LoPro, they knew it was going to have to be a custom. They installed the rails for me and sent me on my way. 2 weeks later I got the call from them that it was ready. In 10 minutes they had the customer tonneau cover installed and functioning perfectly. Finally I can carry a load without everything getting wet, dusty, muddy and I have some security. I'm working on installing a Tuffy bed box right now but will post some pics later.

I still have to maneuver it back and forth to roll it up because of the angle of the rack but it works!

Just finished building my own rack to work with my RetraxPro Pro MX bed cover! It's super convenient having a rack and cover.

None as of yet, looking for ideas.
Ok, if you don’t mind, I want to use your idea, because I bought the SAME CBI bed rack. What was the cost of your Custom cover? Do you have the specs of the build.

I am looking at doing a CBI bed rack with tonneau cover as well. Are there any other options other than to custom build them??

I too am interested in the costs and specs. I already have my CBI rack- but would really like to find a clean solution for a cover to keep the dust and rain off of my gear

Really digging your setup. That's what I wanted when I had a rack. Hard cover to lock people out and protect the contents of the bed. The soft to me isn't secure enough.

Bumping this. I have a CBI bed rack and am looking at tonneau covers, preferably something retracting, but could work with a 3-panel type system if it were easy to get on and off. Not looking for a soft cover.

My alternative would be a Decked drawer system, but that wouldn't give me nearly the same secured space. ETA, with the Decked, I also lose access to the in-bed outlet and the possibility of modding a compressor into the cubby.

    ...stuff
So.... what is custom here? I do not see it, I see a standard roll up tonneau cover.

Just a guess (I'm not the poster of custom), but the CBI rack, and presumably others, mount on the cargo rail system, which makes the bed opening slightly narrower, and reduces flexibility in mounting the rails. His rails look like they mounted fairly straight-forwardly (is that a word?), but the cover itself may have needed to be sewn a little narrower.

    But what do I know....
