It is a really minor gripe but figured I'd mention it. The OEM bed cleats can go in there fine but anything else you can't really slide them on the rails.

The Lorado is really a great cover. Tight as a drum, sits really low and mine is pretty damn near waterproof. I usually roll it up when I go through the wash so it doesn't stretch but even when I leave it covered it doesn't take long to kind of shrink back to normal after stretching from the blowers.

My truck had a UnderCover SE when I got it. Decided I wanted a bed rack. Sold my cover and purchased a Leer Trilogy tribfold for what I sold mine for. Got KB Voodoo hi Rise bars. Best of both worlds. Cover when needed and folded back when I don’t. I need the dry storage for sons soccer gear and chairs during the season.

I’ve run open bed, with a shell, FlipPac, and RTT either on my Taco or previous trucks. I recently bought a $180 Tyger roll up and I’m loving it. Combined with a Pop-n-Loc it gives adequate security and rolls up in seconds to give essentially the full bed opening for access or transport. Looks good and is holding up well so far. At that price a Tyger or North Mountain is a worthwhile experiment. If you don’t like it, sell it ... no more than 2 or 3 tanks of gas lost.

Yes. The Hi Rise have twist knobs that attach the bars to the brackets that are secured on the factory track. It takes about 5 minutes to take them off and fold cover up or down. Then 5 minutes to reinstall the bars and knobs.

Perfect for securing tools over night or on the road(locks and waterproof) Makes camping and tail-gating a breeze. I’ve taken it off a total of 2 times only because I didn’t have my little trailer at the time to haul materials.

Mine too. Soft cover looks good and keeps things mostly dry. Plus it’s got a Toyota logo on it.

Does anyone know which manufacturer makes the hard tri fold tonneau which is the option for the 3rd Gens? The ARE and Leer painted fiverglass covers just have a weird, once over look around the bedsides and tailgate, for the price. I always thought the hard tri fold cover on the 3rd gen looks pretty clean.

Nevermind - I read that the factory cover for the 3rd gen isn’t really good. But the Undercover is a really good aftermarket hard cover which has the look I’d want.

Thread resurrection. Currently trying to decide if I want to fork over $800 for a Bakflip MX4 or save the money. Im taking a break from motocross while in school and moving back to wintery IL, was thinking it might be nice to have a cover for the trip home, winters, but also don't really think they look as good as a naked bed.

I like my Lund soft tri-fold "Genesis Elite". Easy on, and easy off. Works great. Uses bed rail system for install. No drill mount.

Message @eccracer104 and he will get you the TW discount on whichever cover you decide, (if Autoanything carries them.) He got me a deal on a Extang Trifecta which is a soft folding cover.

Will do, I got autoanything to take $215 off using the chat feature, so $785 for it.

I had always disliked tonneaus. If you want a trunk, buy a sedan! Well, my truck came from the factory perfectly optioned, except it had the tri-fold tonneau. Figured I'd sell it. Well, after living with it on and sometimes off, I gotta say that I like it a lot -- for the reasons others have mentioned. Normally I haul dirt bikes on a trailer but the tonneau is easily removed if I want to take one or two bikes. It's keeping me from getting a shell for now too.
