I watch for a $3+ dip followed by a $2+ recovery and then buy the $2 out calls...if I'm playing...But holy shit, the $395 3/26 calls that closed at $600 today were like $0.25 on Thursday in the dip...

Yea thats what happened today, took a big position and possibly got manipulated out or something like that(i don't even try to understand too well, not my style). Usually he does smaller but consistently profitable positions

 

It's all rigged. Only way we make money is if we happen to buy on the correct side of what the market makers and hedge funds are about to do right before they do it. It's honestly worse than a roll of the dice at a casino.

I'd always assumed you and me and everyone else were playing on a relatively level playing field. Sure, maybe we couldn't trade as fast, and sure, maybe we didn't have quite as much information as they do.

Nope.

They know what we're doing before they even trade. We are the cows getting milked for the most part unless we get really lucky.

I'm watching it in real time right now with both CRSR and PLTR. Every one of the dips was to shake out calls. Run the price up a bit, get people buying, and short it back down. It's disgusting.

Yup...and they know the score before the end of every quarter so we'll never max out profits...You lose by holding...You have to sell when your fractionally green...I learned that with $SPY calls..they got Up $100? Close them out and call it a win...

 

Same thing they do. Sell when you're up a few points. Difference is, we're trying to do it with a few grand. They're doing it with billions of dollars. And, if the price is going the wrong way, they can dump in a few tens of millions in to get it to the point where they can put their positions in the green to sell.

 

So we just need a few billion dollars. Ideas?

 

Absolutely. Give it to me, I'll start a hedge fund, short everything I can turn a few bucks profit on, and in the mean time I'll live a life most people couldn't dream of having. When it finally catches up to me, I'll fight you to the bitter end, and when my fund goes down in flames I'll try to live off of the hundreds of millions I've shored up in properties and foreign companies.

 

The SEC needs to outlaw naked shorting, then we would have a much fairer market and better chance.

The shorts wont lose many battles. they have big tech on their side selling them data. Look at what came out with stocktwits. It will always be rigged in their favor.

Oh and MITI just raised 3mil cash, each location costs $750k; eliminated convertible debt per 10k filing. CEO says more good news on the way. Google reviews on the Good Clinic Minnesota location are positive so far and they're likely to be administering vaccines soon. I think they've been artificially held down in this lull lately

 

I've been thinking about getting back in, but all my $$ is tied up currently.

 

It's alright man, can't catch them all and how many people you can positively affect along the way is as much of a flex as stacks of cash. Still time to buy if you can find some cash. It's funny, when you first mentioned it i threw a couple hundred at it just cause i liked the look of the chart and then added an embarrassingly stupid amount to play on a penny stock cause it kept doing okay for a penny stock. Never actually did any DD till the end of last year and turns out it's got tons of potential. I owe ya when i sell

 

I was in it because I liked the business plan, but got impatient and then life happened...

Currently, I'm in GME heavy and running a long shot with RVVTF. Aside from those 2, I have a few mining stocks.
