I was trying to figure out what made my investment $$$ go up all of a sudden, kind of surprising

 

A lot of talk about the stimulus going on right now. Who knows, maybe round 2 is in the making if the line is being held on some of these meme stocks.

 

Kicking myself now for not putting like 10x what I did into bitcoin last week. Oh well, could have easily gone the other way.

 

Love those glimmers of GME hope after hours so I can get set up to have my heart crushed in the morning when it drops another $10 a share. Every time.

 

Risk v. Reward and risk mitigation. This was my approach to thinking for GME. That dude made 50mil +/- or whatever.

I would have put in....100 bucks? My max returns was about 3-4k last time I did the math out for what I would have risked and the timing of it all. So, seeing what I know my risk mitigation would have limited me to on the upside, I was okay with missing the train.

If you can learn the cycles, it's a fairly cyclical pattern following basic time series stuff. Problem is there are some things that can throw a wrench into your time series as a one off. For example, the current main buyer of US corn may change and become someone else. So, Corn will go up, as will pork, for the same reasons, unexpectedly. CORN usually peaks end of year.
