Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

E*Trade called me today. I guess they assigned me an account manager or something. Called to make sure I got everything set up properly, asked if I had any questions. Unexpected and a really nice surprise from a customer service standpoint.

He was asking me about my financial goals and such, and I was like, I hate to tell you this, but I'm mostly going to gamble options and high volatility stocks with this account.

I think he was hoping to set me up an IRA or move my schwab money over lol. Nice guy though.

 

Did you pick up ALTO this morning? It made a little mini-charge at EOD. Trust me, 5% is something to get excited about with the amount of shares I have. lol

 

DAMNIT I FORGOT. shit! I even had it written down on my desk and ignored it.

I had similar from td. I jacked up one of the forms and the guy called me. He was super helpful and nice and was nice about it. Once I saw what I done messed up I said “oh well that was stupid” and he giggled. I told him I’m all good I just made a boo boo I’ll fix it and do it again and be better this time. Considering what I’m sure they deal with day to day that could have been 2 hours with granny trying to explain stuff so I gotta give them credit.

ha! I work in sales, and from a strategy perspective, great idea to assign the low level accounts out to the financial advisors and have them call you. I'm sure they get commission for each product they help you sign up for. I just kinda deflated my guy when I essentially said I signed up to have a more stable platform while I throw darts at the wall. Plus I lied on the application and said I have over $1mm liquid, so they assigned me to some guy that had "15 years of experience at Morgan Stanley before moving to E*Trade"

 

ETRADE make money whether your darts hit or miss. lol

I think there was some confusion as to the date. Not to mention the fall out at reddit. I got my money back and got out

 

In theory it sounds like it could really throw a wrench in their whole business and I haven’t read their filings in a while to see what they mention about it. I would hope they have a backup plan or pivot cause they would definitely have to offer less for properties which would most likely trickle into lower rents all around. I haven’t read up on it or when the safe banking act will be changes as honestly it hasn’t really been on my mind until you mentioned it.

It could be a problem but doesn’t seem to affect the stock as it is currently.

I mean in this market you can be a penny stock or going bankrupt and you will be ran to the “moon” (insane)

I took profits earlier this week and took my basis out cause it has ran up to much.

Ill have to look back into JD but all the delisting talk had me just get out.

If you like JD you need to look into SE.
SE continues to amazing me and keeps going up. I have bought and sold several times and rebought back in. They are doing well.

Couldn't have timed that one any worse. You should buy more at a lower rate to lower that average and then sell
