Chewy stole market share from large general retailers by specializing in one area, crafting experiences specific to that area, and putting an extremely high internal value on excellent customer service.

So it sort of was transformative, in my opinion.

One the "recovery" date he predicts the price is also in that same 1.5% range. Here's the cool part. On the "rising" date he predicts the price is actually higher by 35%.

What caused that run-up? Maybe the fact they released earnings 2 fucking business days later? Earnings run-ups are old news. Way before the Redditers thought they figured out the market. So your boy struck out on 2 of 3 dates. The 3rd he just got lucky as it happened to coincide with an earnings run.

Oh, and what happened to GME the day after earnings? Yeah, it dropped 29%. lol

Aren’t all companies profit driven? Chewy may have carved out their niche by providing superior customer service than Amazon, but they aren’t doing it for the common good of pet owners.
