The shitload of calls in the money expiring tomorrow are way more important than the puts. The puts are down and I expect most holders will opt to simply let them expire.

There was no ability to stop the rapid short dump...Normally the buying would halt it's cascade and stop sell triggers...But they flooded it...

Well, that was more stressful then it should have been. Raise your hand if you feel like you just got kicked in the nuts.

I can't believe the collusion...
Imagine you are the big hands and taking on the chin 2 days in a row...What can you do? Well, you go crying to the govt. You say "Look we don't want to do this but we are being forced to liquidate assets to cover this squeeze brought on by these colluding traders. We're going to need some help or we can't stop the down from dropping. If we get hit with a 3rd day in a row of liquidating to cover were going to have to dump even more assets and the DOW will finish down 3 days in a row. This is a massive BEAR signal. Stack on top of that the GDP numbers are coming out today....We don't know what they will be but if they are not favorable, and the DOW is down 3 days in a row...Well...We're helpless...What could we do?"
Well...what if we stop people from BUYING these stocks...then we dump short MORE Shares...they can't stop the drop and then we can start covering...Once we do that we'll take the gains and BUY BACK all the positions we sold over the last 2 days in the big stocks. This will send the DOW cranking back up green and we'll plaster every financial website with "Renegade traders try to destroy market" and then we won't even have to acknowledge the GDP is drifting into the shitter...

I mean....

Holding SNDL on a trip today was up 100% pre market at one point this morning. VTI treated me well enough today. Fun times. I'll take relatively boring and steady.

 

I do as well. Loaded up on cheap options for BABA and NIO. They expire after earnings so I've got some time for them to really pay out. The AMC and GME play is just some expendable income. I'm not that stupid. lol
