I punched in "cooper discoverer atp" into the search feature but didn't find much for reviews.

    -50/50 street and highway driving.
-snow driving in the winter going over the pass to Reno
-no mudding but plenty of bumpy trails and hill climbing.

Does anyone who runs these on their tacoma have any reviews?

My current tires are close to 10 years old according to the tech at Firestone

You can tell exactly how old your tires are. There will be 4 digit number on the sidewalk. First two digits are the week and the last two digits are the year of manufacture.

I ran these on my F150 and they were great tires. They are very quiet on the road, handled reasonably well on the ice and cleared very well. If I need to replace my tires, I'd get another set of these.

Found it. "2805" so I guess they're around 9 years old.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
I'm running these exact tires right now and am really pleased with the performance. Especially for the price. They look badass and got me around in the snow and offroad when I did it. So far I'm 90% street, and I don't think I can hear them at all.

I've been running these for about a year now - quiet running and do fine off-road, though they have mostly seen fire roads, gravel roads, and highway. I wanted Dura-tracs, but those weren't in the budget.

Another plus - I got road hazard on them with Discount Tire ( which I believe are the only ones that sell the ATP). When I recently bought a 2003 DC with weather cracked Duellers, I took my 2003 Xcab Taco and the new 2003 DC to the Discount Tire where I purchased the tires and had them swap the wheels and tires between the two Tacos, which they did, free of charge. At the same time, my dad brought his '87 4Runner over while in the midst of the tire swap and asked if they would put one of my tires/"16 rims on his 4Runner to test the fit (which they do - Barely). Also did that free of charge.

Anyway, so far they are holding up.

If you have a Discount Tire near by, GET THIS WARRANTY!!! When I got mine, the salesman tried getting me to buy the warranty and I said no. He knocked the price down to $70 so I figured why not. 2 days later, I drove over a C-clip and popped the tire. Took it back to Discount Tire and they replaced it no questions asked. The way I see it, that warranty saved me $70. $140 tire minus $70 warranty.

Ran these for 60,000. Good AMERICAN tire, but,not great in the snow... hard compound.

Have them right now and like em a lot. Drive one time in a snow and the rear slid a lot. Not sure if it's tires or just nature of a truck.

I hear mention of discount tire. I found the ATP's on Americas tire website and am wondering if they're the same thing as discount tire? I also noticed they have an $80 prepaid visa you get when you but these tires.

Yes Discount Tire and Americas Tire are the same company, but because of "Discount Tire Centers" in certain cities, they have to call the stores America's Tire for legal reasons

Bought my ATP's from discount tires ebay store. They were cheaper on there than the actual site and I got free shipping. Had Tire Choice up the road mount them for 80 bucks which brought my total for tires mounted and balanced to $620. Great so far. They look and handle great and I have no road noise. I would highly recommend them.

I have had them for a month or so....I like them as much as my duratracs I just replaced. Hell of a lot quieter that the goodyears....wet traction is ok too. I towed a few thousand lb trailer with a gun safe today and they felt fine...

As soon as mr. taxman gets me my refund, I'm getting these. I'm going from a 285/75/16 to a 265/75/16 so aside from appearance, can I expect my truck to feel any different say on the highway? I guess I'm asking if decreased fuel economy and decreased power come from a wider tire or a taller tire?

You may. The wider and taller tire will weigh more and take more effort to make each revolution.
