My '17 TRD OR has Good Year Wrangler tires. I guess they are real midrange, nothing special tires. I have about 19.000 miles on the truck and it seems to me like the tires are wearing fairly quickly. I guess I could measure the tread depth but just looking seems there is a lot of tread worn away for that mileage. Anybody have any thoughts or experience with these tires? Not much can be done but I am curious what mileage people get out of these tires.

OEM tires are garbage. As long as they're wearing evenly there shouldn't be anything wrong with the truck. Just plan on getting new tires soon.

Tires wear the most when they are new then as they age, the wears slows. That being said, agree that OE tires are junk.

I swapped mine at 15K. Def could have got another 15k out of them for highway, but I like to be on the safe side and I also was slipping like crazy off-roading with them, so got some Toyo Open Country AT2s in a C load.

Since I started paying more attention to proper tire maintenance, I've been getting (at minimum) the rated mileage specifications on my tires. Sad part about that is, I always want different tires before the OE's wear out. I'm expecting to see at least 50K on this set. :(

The Toyo tires I had were great, even sold them for $300 to get the Coopers. No manufacturer is putting on Michelin’s

I’m sure it’s in the higher priced package. They’re great tires I’ve used them on all my cars. Not so much for trucks.

I’m running Michelin LTX AT2’s right now on my Tacoma.

Good responses. I guess I am looking as maybe 30K judging where I am now. Good enough for this winter but I would guess next fall I will need new tires. I had a 2009 Taco TRD Sport that I got about 55-60K from factory tires. Can't recall brand, not Firestone but their sister brand...memory ain't what it used to be. I replaced those with Goodyear Assurance (I think that's the model). Super quiet on the highway and still in good shape 30K later when I sold the truck.

Guessing it's the "Kevlar" tires that also came with my '17 O.R. I sold those off for $600, bought 265/75/16 Duratracs... The Goodyear tire that should have been put on our Tacos!

These have been awesome for me. Only 40lb SL load per tire in 265/75/16. Extremely quiet and grip like crazy on loose dirt. Not the best sidewall it’s 2 ply just like the duratracs but they look great and perform even better. Goodyear Ultra Terrain only sold at discount tire. You can get a set of 4 for around $640 right now

I've been looking at these. How are they in the rain and snow?

Haven’t had them in either. I picked them up just about a month ago. They are still kind of a little hidden gem that are not well known for a SL load rated tire in 16
