We just put falken wildpeaks on my fiancé’s 4th gen runner and they have been great so far. We got the 265/70/17s for $470 mounted and balanced after the Presidents’ Day sale at discount tire. Only about 800 miles on them so far

Thats ok. I can kind of make out the tread, and it looks like the sipes are completely gone. Those tires look well past their life ;)

This is what they should look like (w/ ~4k)

I can't say I would recommend Goodyear Duratracs because of terrible wet traction. Wet traction is worse than the stock BFG Rugged Trails. However the treadwear is awesome. I have like 30,000 miles on them and there is still well over half tread life left even though I haven't done any tire rotations.

I'm going to buy BFG AT KO2 next time. I just wish they came in load range C in the size I want.

For those not afraid of the cheaper side of tires, I just picked up these Sailun Terramax AT 4s for pretty cheap from Simpletire..
They come highly rated and also are the first value brand to get the snowflake symbol.
They even have sick flames :D20180221_141439.jpg 20180221_141448.jpg 20180221_141522.jpg
Look great imho and weigh just under 37lbs in 265/70/16s. Also 50k mileage rating..
I will post up more pics and reviews when mounted...

I’ve got almost 35k on my Falken Wildpeaks. 265/75/r16 running about 132$ a tire on DTD. No issues on or off road with the SL rating

I'll be the one to say it, I like my BFG all terrains. Not cheap but they wear well. Wife's 4Runner has grabber at2s, and they aren't bad either.

X2! I've had at least 6 sets of them on various vehicles and they've performed extremely well in all conditions. They are worth looking in to. We just put 265/70/17's on our TRD Sport and are loving them......

I’ve run BFG KO2’s, General Grabber AT2’s and now Duratrac’s. So far I like the Duratrac’s better, only because they’re better in snow. Which is a big requirement for my driving.

I bought my truck 7 years ago with 64,000 miles on the odometer. It had a set of Michelin LTX A/T 2 tires on TRD wheels. Mileage on the tires was unknown. I've put another 100,000 miles on the truck since then and the tires still look like new, and I do virtually no highway driving. They're great in snow and rain, quiet on the road. If they ever do wear out I'll replace them with the same.

Not THAT far north. That’s damn near Canukistan. (Not that I have anything against Canadians. Love my northern brothers!) Lol

    I’m in Duluth.
