What tire size fits on a 9" wheel without getting too big? I'd like to do 265/70r17 but according to most sites it says 8.5" is the widest recomendation. I've been looking at the BF Goodrich KO2 or Toyo AT2. I would like a more aggressive looking tire. I am planning on keeping things stock or a 2.5" leveling kit.

20160102_143058.jpg 20160310_185109.jpg I have General AT2 grabbers in 265/70/17 and the have been fine. Although I wish they were 17x8 because the tire actually got shorter because the tire ballons out to fill the 9 inch wheel. Overall I am happy and the tire are smooth and quiet.

I actually just got tires and wheels yesterday. I went with the 275/70/17 KO2's on the 17" XD Addict 17x9. I wasn't sure how the fitment would work but it turned out great. Had to do a little trimming and still need to do a little more, but so far so good.

I am running BFG KO2 in 265/70R17 tires on Raceline 17x9 wheels with no issues.

06HAOLE see above, I just did the 17x9 XD Addicts on 275 KO2's. Turned out great! A little more trimming to do, but minimal rubbing with the tire size so far.
