For 2005+ Tacomas: 265/70/17, 265/75/16 or 265/65/18, depending on what size wheels you have

    For 2004 and below: 265/75/16

Lifted 5 lug trucks can run up to a 31" tire, depending on the lift used.

Compare different sizes with our tire size calculator

EDDO has it. I would add "with stock width wheels having stock backspace and offset".

Did you compensate for the extra width of the wheel by selecting a backspacing/offset to position it similar to a stock wheel or a touch out?

EDDO already told you which tires should work without modification and you purchased wheels that are wider than recommended for those tires. Plus you told us nothing about the backspace and offset of those wheels. You really need to spend some time on Google learning about wheels and tires.

"What looks best" is completely subjective. Since you don't seen to be concerned about performance just buy what pleases you.

As I understand it, you want to use 265/70/17 tires on new wheels. The recommended wheel width for this size tire is 7" - 8.5", so as @steelhd said above, the wheels you have selected are too wide for the tire size you have selected. Please pick again, this time in a 17X8. I think you would do well to contact Dustin from FNWheels. The post below has contact information for him.

Personally I recommend looking up the backspace and offset for your stock wheels then match that. The 265s that EDDO listed will fit that width wheel and not moving the outside of the tire any farther out (by not changing the backspace/offset) minimizes your chances of rubbing which was your stated goal.
