Washed my taco pro the other day and been driving ever since. Today I noticed on each side of my taco that there are shiny spots on the plastic fender and along the sides of the paint. I haven’t gotten a chance to try to clean it off yet but will the tire shine that’s on the plastic fender come off easily and is It ok if it’s on there?

    thanks

Just use some detailing spray or wait till the next time you wash the truck. Wont hurt anything

Carpro PERL is good for this and will help with UV protection. You can dilute it in all kinds of ways for plastics, engine, rubber and leather. Definitely use it on any vehicle with plastic trim to keep it from fading. Some of these cars out there or Jeeps for example are covered in this plastic which is going to look like shit in a few short years. It does make the plastic trim look better, darker and richer.

This is considered a water based dressing, other brands have them. I wouldn't use the silicone based tire dressings though.

Hey, will definitely try this out! I like the fact that you can use on multiple surfaces. Curious, does it come in a spray bottle form already for tire use?

I can't recall if they give you a sprayer with it, usually these products come with a regular cap but they throw in a sprayer as well. You'd need to provide your own bottles, I've got one that I mix 1:1 for tires and one at 1:3 for plastics. It's thicker than milk, more like a heavy cream in it's undiluted state. If going undiluted for tires you could probably just dab it onto the tire applicator.

Lastly, would you say that the bottle lasts a good while?

I think so, i've still got a good bit of the 1 liter bottle I purchased a while a go. With quality detailing products less is usually more, a very little will go a long way, particularly with plastic.

Ive used quick detailer and a plush microfiber cloth to remove accidental tire shine sling and I can confirm this works.
