I got some new wheels and I am having some rubbing on the driver side only in the location below. Closeup picture is also included.

Anyone have an idea for a fix here?

Cut or different wheels or different tires. happens to pretty much anyone that puts on aftermarket wheels or larger tires.

Yea, I kind of figured this would be the answer. Just didn't know if there was a better - cut and replace with something that at least looks aesthetically pleasing. Because everyone wants a good looking wheel well, right?

Try to get the caster up, 2 should be achievable with stock UCAs. Try a heat gun as well and popping it back a bit.

That' has to be, or so dam close to cab mount. I'm sure with any flex it will hit cab mount.

What's the wheel offset and tire size?

I'd try getting some caster out of it before butching up the truck.

265/70/17 - 0 offset wheels, all factory suspension. I am honestly surprised I am getting rub with this setup. The fact that it is only on the drivers side makes me wonder if the 1/4" taco lean spacer would help.

Lift doesn’t change the rub, you need a high caster alignment.

You need an alignment with more caster, that will get rid of it. Ask the alignment shop to give you as much caster, without getting toe, or camber numbers out of stock range. Yes, it can be done with stock stuff. If the alignment shop or dealer say they cant, find a better alignment shop. Ski

I'm running same setup. Used a heat gun and pushed the liner in. I still get a tiny bit of rubbing when turning and braking (passenger side) but like others have said I'm sure an alignment would fix it.

I got the same setup but with -12 offset. Just an alignment and a few cuts. No more rubbing and even kept the mudflaps on.

I just had the exact same issue with SEMA wheels/ATIIIs of the same size. I couldn’t cut enough away on the flap to completely eliminate the rub (both sides). Local shop adjusted caster and now it’s 100% gone

Have your alignment tech move the LCA adjusters as far forward as possible then dial in caster with adjustments to the UCA adjuster. This will put the wheel as far forward as possible in the wheel well. I'm running SPC UCAs at ~4 deg of caster and I have zero rub with 275 70 17 KO2s on Vision Manx II 17x9s with +12mm offset.

My tires are within 0.050 inch diameter of yours with an offset of 12. I’m no where near rubbing (can fit my hand between tire and where you are rubbing). My tires are 275/55R20’s. Sitting on stock suspension.
