I have a 2016 Tacoma Sport 4WD, manual transmission, with 50,000 miles, and the OEM Toyo tires are pretty much worn down, so I want to buy some new shoes for my truck. I do not drive "off-road," but we do have some snow here in the winter in the mid-Atlantic area. I'm looking for good traction in dry and rain, quiet tires, and perhaps a set that lasts longer than the 50K I've gotten so far. The Toyo spare, luckily, has never been used.Oh...17" wheels.

Current specific recommendations for new tires? Thanks!

You should consider changing the spare also. General rule of thumb. Tire 5-6 years old should be replaced. The spare could be a low cost option.

Michelin LTX AT2 were some of the best tires I ever ran. Quiet, great in rain and snow and lasted a long time.

I concur with Joe. I run the Michelin LTX AT2 on my Tacoma and 4Runner.

I actually liked my factory Firestone DESTINATION LE3 - SIZE: 265/70R17 those should be stock size. They actually did well in winter, wet, and at 20k when I sold em had tons of tread left. Awesome mpg too!

These tires are not quite as aggressive looking as other AT tires but I have also been extremely pleased with mine.
