Is it true no tilt or telescoping steering in 2023 Tacoma trd offroad??

If true, wtf?? That would also explain the need for seat jackers...
I have a 2023 to arrive mid sept.'23, but i am seeing several 'issues' i was not aware of?

    Mine is trd offroad mt.....lunar.
And no i didnt test drive because no mt were in stock...so its on me and my $500. Dep.....

What i read is if u install seat jacks, u have very little space between your legs and steering wheel...but if u have tilt steering wheel, that would remedy that issue, no?

I am just graspin at straws here.....and yes, when several folks on this forum have different issues with their tacoma, i cant help but "take note"...

Mine has tilt and tele, not much but it does. Haven't had a problem with anything in 6k miles. This is my first Toyota coming from a long line of Chevys, I'm 100% happy. Can't say that after 6k miles with the Chevs, usually they were back to the dealer for a few "repairs". I'm loving the old school vibe

I have a 2022 SR5 and it has a tilt and telescopic steering column. Between that and the 10 way power seat, You may be able to find a comfortable position.

The amount of movement is very minimal, but the adjustments are there. All the way up, there’s not a lot of room between the seat and wheel. Adding jackers means there’s even less

I installed just front seat jackers and there is very little space between my legs and the bottom of the steering wheel even with it all the way up. It definitely isn't ideal but the seat position is much more comfortable so it's worth it. I'm 6'0" for reference.

Somebody add a hub yet to these wheels for extensions?

Yes, it will have tilt and telescopic adjustments. But when you change the geometry of the seat that Toyota didn't account for you doing...yes, your legs will be closer to the wheel. I don't see the need for seat jackers and I can comfortably get in and out of the truck with my tree trunk thighs.

Imo, Toyota's amount of telescopic adjustments on this tacoma are a joke compared to other vehicles I've had.

I highly doubt they were gotten rid of for one final year, sounds like more internet booshit.
Also, before you take delivery, go test drive an auto at least, I can't imagine buying a new vehicle with no test drive,,, then to make it worse,,, go test drive it on the net.

Mine has it. Just not a lot of adjustment is probably what he meant

Yep, good news is it has tilt/telescope. Bad news is there’s only an inch to inch & a half travel vertically or towards you, so almost negligible anyway.

I believe they are actually called Seat Jackers, anyway they are smallish (1 inch or so, can’t remember the exact dimensions) blocks to install under your front seat rail attachment points to tilt the seat backwards a bit.

Made a huge difference in comfort of the drivers seat to me.

    Made by Desert Does It.

My steering wheel tilts and does not telescope (my truck is older). Never had issues with leg room. I've also never found the need to use seat jackers.

Problem I face is I like to position myself as far away from the dash as possible as long as I can gas/break comfortably, however, even with the steering wheel telescoped completely out it’s still hard to reach.

I'll echo what others said about the tilt and Tele adjustments. The Tacoma has very little bit of adjustment compared to my old Jeep Liberty CRD and the Subaru Outback Limited I had before that.
I have a 2020 sr5 with power driver seat. I'm fine and feel like I can get in to a good position. I can't comment on seat jackers. Some say they are the best thing since Betty White first sliced bread. I just don't see the need or it's an answer to a problem I don't have.
