Curious as to what tie rods everyone is running looking into upgrading my tie rods to a more beefy setup as opposed to going to advanced auto parts or somewhere else that carries a basic tie rod setup that's basically OE fitment. Let me know your thoughts.

To what purpose do you want to "upgrade"? Are you thinking your truck will be tougher/cooler/more reliable?

Any time you put beefier parts on you are creating a different part that is the weakest link. Put mega-u-joints in that would never break... and suddenly your ring gear is made the weak link. Which would you rather replace if it breaks? Which is less expensive? If you are looking to make your truck indestructible it will get very expensive and it doesn't exist.

I like my truck the way it is, the way it is designed. If I break it I can fix it easily, with less expensive parts. If I need beefier tie rods then I'm abusing my truck and I'll be breaking something else. It's your money, and your time. I don't have any extra of either to be spent on things that don't need replacing if I'm not abusing my equipment.

I think that is going to be the route I will be going now that I have a close connection through the parts department at my local Toyota dealer which is awesome to have. Wanted to know also if any of you knew of the quick disconnects for sway bar links somewhat like what jeeps have through anti rock and I believe terraflex is the other company who makes the disconnects as well. Let me know what all you guys know just trying to get some opinions
