About to do front lift. Saw many vids that say to use threadlocker red on the boltsunder the knuckle and end link for sway bar. Would blue be a better choice? Since I’m sure I will need to get back in there again for possible ECGS bushing or any other suspension tweaking.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Use the blue, do not use red in sway bar links. You will never get them off. More important to torque to spec.

That’s what I was thinking. Don’t think I’ll put any on sway bar link. I will go blue on knuckle bolts

Torque those again after 50 miles and you will be fine.

Funny I am doing my "lift" (really just installing fox 2.5 DSC) right now and I am thinking the same thing.

Seems to me like there's confusion because loctite brand loctite comes in a red bottle, and permatex brand "loctite" thread locker comes in blue squeezy tubes.

On top of that, adding red thread locker to nylocks just seems like a double ultra CYA "our lawyers told us to do this" kind of move. Red threadlock a nylock, it becomes a permanent fixture. Don't red threadlock it, they can say you didn't follow our instructions so you can't sue us!
