You'll find there are very strong opinions on here about VTX that may/may not necessarily answer your questions.

Thoughts: A good friend, and team mate had the Outlaws in Black. They looked and functioned great.
Pics: I've got pics, but they're on a 5th Gen 4runner. I can post them if you'd like.

I've personally owned VTX Terra's and currently run their Viper's, and have been super pleased with the fit/finish/quality/
    and function with both.

If quality matters to you it's FN Wheels. Dustin has taken care of the Toyota offroad community for years.

For the record, we came out with the Stealth 6 model first:cheers: About 2yrs after our release, companies like KMC, Tuff, now ICON and VTX are doing them with the bolts. Just saying'

Bottom line, folks are welcome to purchase whatever brand they prefer or want to support. We're OK with that. We're not trying to capture every single customer or convince SCS is better than anything other brand. We know what we represent and what we're about. We know where our integrity lays and are proud of the way we conduct business. Any day of the week, I'm always willing to put everything I have on any of our wheel design up against any of these companies out there when it comes to the truck market. It's all in the details!

That's completely understandable which is why we always say and feel that everyone is free to choose what they prefer to run on their trucks. Behind the scenes, we are aggressively looking to purchase a new warehouse space to help us with our supply issue. This doesn't happen overnight no matter how much we all want it to, but it's something we plan to accomplish.

I just wanted to clear the air since I've seen the reference to KMC a few times and people are just speaking without knowing all the facts. I knew from the beginning that companies would eventually start offering similar designs to us b/c when they can't get creative, it's what people resort towards. Think about it, 6-7 yrs ago, you would never see truck wheels offered in colors like gunmetal and bronze as standard finishes. There was just gloss black, flat black, and machined/polished and a combination of them.

That's one of the main reasons why I started SCS, lol. I went wheel shopping 7yrs ago and couldn't find anything that fit my taste and that's when the light bulb clicked on.

I picked up a set of SCS F5s that were listed in the previously linked blemished thread. Paid and they showed up a couple days later looking mint to my eyes, a few days after that there was another set of 4 listed in a different finish. They show up, you just have to watch. Plus, the hype makes it all that much sweeter when you actually get some.

Had I gone gunmetal I would have done the SCS, and they're nothing but professional in how they're responding here.

But....no one can complain too much about another company making a five star/six spoke/phone dial design.

This is probably older than any of the owners at either shop lol.

What that everyone thinks scs are original designs. They are cheap China made knock off of older rims .... stop sucking up to them you are not getting a discount ... all these are made by different company’s and I bet you can find scs rims that look almost identical
