Hey folks. Found a set of lightly used Dobinson leaf springs (L59-110-R) nearby. Seller would let them go for $200 total and says he ran them for less than 5000 miles and simply wanted to go with a different brand to match his front coilovers and rear shocks.

    1. Anyone have experience with Dobinson products?
    2. Think it is okay to buy lightly used leaf springs?

That's a great deal, 75% off when you factor in shipping costs.

Good to know, thanks Mike. Over time I hope to acquire front and rear Dobinson suspension components to complete my build.

I'll double check with him on the hardware. When the time comes to complete my build, mind if I reach out to you Mike?

My buddy runs Dobinson suspension on a Sequoia and he likes his stuff but he doesn’t have leaf pack. $200 is great if its the right set up for your weight. I fell like you could turn around and resell them for more if you don’t like them. Def get new U-bolts as I have been taught these are use once only as they stretch and weaken. Might be an upsell tactic since this was from a leaf spring company but for the price, its worth changing them. Also, re-torque them again after you drive on them for 500 miles, they will most likely need a second torque.

Load weight on that model is for 0-220lbs. My truck is 2WD so I won’t be running with loads of camping equipment (until I get a locker installed obviously). So should suite my needs well and provide the lift I am looking for.

great price. i would jump on that. can sell them for $450 pretty quick if anything.

and used leaf packs should be ok. they last a while, unless they were over loaded.
