Cali Raised lights are crap, however I used their brackets to mount a DD 30" with two spacers. I thought the brackets felt well built

As @vorkuta775 said, caliraised is known for selling china brand lights for triple the price and then charge extra for the wire harness that normally comes with them. ( you can get the same lights on Amazon for way less)

You can use their mounts, but again, you can get the same mount from amazon for less than half.

Adding this one to the ever growing list of vendors and products not TW approved. Soon to be buying my own CNC and 3d printer to make all my own products.

Never understood the point of a light bar in the grill. Seems like a better investment to get new headlights or even fog lights.

you are welcome. like the common saying here, "buy once, cry once" and I will give you an example of why companies like baja designs fucking rule! I fried my baja 40" s8, I also stripped a bunch of the screws trying to switch lenses. so there goes a 1k lightbar right? nah, baja was like bro, send it to us, we fix it. In this case I got a brand new one free, I just paid shipping one way which ran me 30 bucks. Do as you please with your money but just dont be butt hurt when you buy shit/trash products that break. kinda like cheap LED bulbs lol

I got one cause it looked cool... I took it out when I realized how useless it actually was. Now it sits in my garage taking up space. Might mount it to a boat someday.

You are probably right I was considering ditch lights instead to widen my lit up field of view in rural areas for multiple purposes such as not hitting a deer!

do you have a roof rack? Honestly, I have tested over 10 different types of ditch lights including the god damn baja LP4s. could go with a 40" baja s8 they have a nice amber DRL feature, and with a combo/driving that would be killer

Ditch lights I see the value in and are a better investment, for exactly what you described. I used to think they were useless but have run into a couple of occasions where they would have been helpful.

I do not have a roof rack to answer the above.

Honestly the stock lights on my (basically still new first truck) are totally (.)(.)'s compared to my old saturn and probably don't NEED any additional lights but ya just shopping around for some intelligent investments for rural adventures.
