Any thoughts on the Kenwood DDX9907XR head unit. https://www.kenwood.com/usa/car/excelon/ddx9907xr/

I currently have the stock entune head unit in my 2014 DCSB. However, I have a Kicker Key powering a set of components up from and the stock rear speakers. I am planning on replacing the stock rear speakers soon. I have an LC2i converting the signal to feed into a Fosgate amp that drives a single 10” sub located behind the rear passenger seat.

I had thoughts about trying to figure out a mounting solution to install the Pioneer DMH-WC6600NEX, but I just don’t think it is going to work. Plus, I have come to the realization that I have a lot of music on CD’s that I still listen to. Yah I know, but for me it would be a serious pain to convert all of them to digital. Also, I have a lot of CD’s that I made while on deployments that don’t have accurate titles on them (song/artist). They are listed as track 1, track 2, and so on. Going through and assigning all of the info would take a lot more time than I am willing to devote to it.

I do not like the floating screen look. I greatly prefer the flush looking head units. I use Waze and like that it can display on the head unit so I can get rid of my phone holder that bounces around and drives me crazy.

    wireless CarPlay/android Auto
    HD screen
    hi res audio!

100% recommend! If you don’t listen to CDs, you can save a couple hundred and get the DMX957XR, everything else is the same.

edit: I see your sentence on CDs now. Put all of them on a flash drive and stuff it in the glove box on the 2nd USB haha

Glad to hear the positive review. The DMX957XR is on my christmas list. It's just always OOS on crutchfield.
