Yeah, I'm really hoping I get there! I'm at roughly 20k on them so far. I usually drive around 25k miles a year.

That's exactly it! At first they kind of threw me off too, but got use to the look quick and now really like it. Though, no lie, when I'm parked by my buddy with 305 33's, they look damn skinny again lol. Glad I don't do it often!

Also, if you think about it, they're really only a 10mm difference width wise than stock, that's almost negligible. It's that height that makes them seem skinnier than they really are.

Also, I’m 38 PSI front and 36 in rear. It’s actually reading really wonky:

Still swear that the Kenda Rts are the best tire out there. Can't wait till these wear out to switch to their 37, wish they made them in a 10.5 though in that size. Oh well, have to cut out everything for them to fit anyways.
About to put some 33x10.5s on my girlfriends Fj, stoked for that as she drives up to the ski resort every night and the Duratracs she has right now are a death trap on the wet roads and slush.

Agreed, they are great tires. I’ll probably get them again when I’m ready for 37’s as well. If you think about the ratio though, 37x12.5R17 are actually still pretty skinny for the height and are technically about the same ratio as the 35x10.5R17’s. Truck looks good.

255/85/16 Geolandars next to some 35x12.5 on my friend’s Frontier. This photo actually makes mine look a little smaller, it’s not insanely different in person. I’ve decided to keep these tires instead of 285s. I’ll be getting some wheel spacers and melting the fender liner since the stock TRD OR wheels have a bit too much backspacing for 33.2” tires at 0 offset. Currently with +25 offset there is no rubbing whatsoever, but it looks dorky to me all tucked in

Apologies if already asked/answered in this long thread already...

My truck is lifted 2.5 inches with aftermarket SPC UCAs. Looking for options in terms of "P-rated, tallest, skinniest" in that order. 17x7" TRD Pro rims.

I liked Michelin Defender LTX M/S 255/75R17 right up to the point where I saw the price of them.

    Thoughts?

I don’t think anyone makes a P-rated skinny that’s 33”. You would have to go with a reduced width and that will reduce the overall height

After a couple of hours searching, I have to agree with you.

Best option I have found so far is Michelin Defender LTX M/S 255/75R17. 38 lb per corner versus 53.4 for my BFG KO2 265/70R17. That will show up in the city range of the truck for sure. Best price I can find in my area is C$1160 minus $70 Michelin rebate, installed/balanced.

That tire looks like a passenger tire. Something I’d put on a Prius!!!

You will definitely save mileage with the reduced weight, less aggressive tread and reduced width. But why switch from an AT tire to a car tire/highway tire? Do you hit the trails? Plus that price seems pretty steep

I paid $1356 for my Geolandars including install if that makes you feel any better.
