Mine has a small hook that allows it to be hung. I had to tie a loop of 550 paracord around one of the poles on the inside to hang it, that lives in the tent and i charge the fan/light as i drive. It also came with a remote so you don’t have to sit up to change speeds or turn the light off

We have a pair of USB-powered fans (similar in size to the case fan in a computer) that we attached velcro to. When we use them, we usually set up both as exhaust fans on the vent section at the top of the tent.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I have this. Three light settings and a fan. LED lights, usually gets through the night without issue.

I have a set of these Hard Korr pods. They work great around camp as the magnetic base can stick to the side of the or in my canopy. They also have an elastic loop which works great for holding them as well.

+1 for the fan, I also have that ha ....it helps a lot, and use it even in cooler weather just to keep air circulating. Have never felt stuffy. It plugs into the powerbank with USB and stays running all night. Great addition.

My FSR rtt comes with built in led lights that's powered from a power bank. You can buy from 23Zero they sell nice string led lights that powers off from power bank. Simple... done.

Just keep throwin' money at it.
Question for the group. Those of you with an ARB Simpson (OVS Nomadic or similar setup too) with the overhang covering the ladder. Have you mounted your tent at bed height and can you fold back that section, or how annoying was it to duck to get in every time you used it? (example photo borrowed from the web)

"Annoying" has never entered my mind. I appreciate the low profile of the tent on the truck with driving. Can still fit plenty of gear in the bed. My canoe even goes on the cab over the tent. SO, low is good for me.

Perfect, the low profile was the main selling point to me as well. I have to lift a 75lb dog up there, so low sounds good, haha. I figured having to slightly duck to get under the entrance was the price to pay for that.

My tent has an LED strip that came with it but its super bright. little LED lanterns have been my go to. can control some of the light and they last a long time being LED. havent had to change batteries in a few years on them. Plus side is I can move them around and hang them places too.

We've been using an Mpowerd folding lantern for years for backpacking and car camping. We just put it on the tent roof or dash during the day and it charges up using solar, then we can use it at night. Backpacking you just strap it to the outside of your pack. For under $20 its been great. MPOWERD Luci Inflatable Solar Lantern: Outdoor 2.0 | REI Co-op

I got this one and has the same 2 buttons that I always get wrong - also the last light setting is a strobe which sucks to have to cycle through lol

Apparently it’s a power bank too but would never use it for that. If I run the fan on low without keeping it connected to my anker powerbank it dies real quick so can’t imagine it would do much in the way of acting as a bank itself
