I'm looking to lift my Tacoma
I heard lifting it would wear out parts
How high can I lift it without harming any parts

If it does, what parts I need to upgrade to accommodate the lift?

The only thing that will limit how high you can lift your truck is how much your wallet can tolerate. There are guys in Hawaii that have 13 - 15 inch lifts.

Any lift at all will cause wear and tear. Might not be enough to notice if it's a small lift, but it WILL wear things out quicker.

    This guy....

I think it's more of tire width as measured on the oversized wide rim === lift height.

haha that thing looks ridiculous, like those monster trucks they temporarily put the street tires on just to transport or work on them.

It seems to be the new Dodge trend. Worse than the silly towing mirrors always extended with an empty bed and no trailer.

These are two things that should never be combined. You don't want to take your off road gear everywhere you go when you're at work, and you don't want to take all your work shit with you when you off road.

Learn to compartmentalize. What happens if you break the truck while doing some hard wheeling? I'll tell you what happens: Your WORK TRUCK is now fucked.

Keep your SR Access cab configuration the same.

But what if you’re a park ranger? It would be ok, then, right?

I feel ya but I plan on doing a ton of wheeling in my work truck. I actually went with SR access cab so I can add all my own upgrades. Save cash for armor, sliders. DD fogs. Add a 2inch lift 33s with skid and sliders and you have a very capable vehicle. I also have Flo from Progressive's number.
