I very much misread that URL

 

I've been making my own hot sauce and it's been such a hit at work that my coworkers buy about 5 bottles a week! Really fun making the stuff and bottling too

 

Made in South Jersey, Hank Sauce. Very Flavorful, especially the one with Cilantro.

Fyi, capsicum is in stem of hot pepper...found out the hard way tonight...i picked a carolina reaper pepper for some fermented hotsauce recipe. Touched my nose and it started burning!!

 

It's great for sinus congestion!

 

Glad i didnt go take a leak...

 

Any good recs for low sodium sauces? Under 50mg a serving. Thanks!

 

Funny story, I did the one chip challenge. It wasn't on my fingers, we wore gloves. No the chip itself made my pee burn when it passed through a few hours later.

 

It was kinda thrust on us. We had a group of friends and we'd meet up and play board games and one of them brought Jolly Rancher Vodka he made and the Chips. So we all drank some liquid courage (except our sober friend) and then did the challenge. 2 of us (myself and another) had zero reaction to it going in. It wasn't till hours later we both regretted it too. My stomach hurt pretty bad. I didn't even eat any dinner that night. Everybody else reacted as you'd assume, chugging milk, shoving ice cubes in their mouths, calling for their moms, etc.

 

Straight up, the guy who was hosting's wife brought them milk and ice and she says "Can I get you all anything else?" One of them goes "My mom!" lmao No one in the room was under 25 fyi.

 

Just found this thread.....which I have no idea why I haven't yet. I have been a chili-head for the past 30+ years. I have a number of different hot sauces that I use on a daily basis , Mad Dog 357, Arnold's Hells Kitchen Habinero....and many sauces from Pepper Palace (even though they have gone way down in the Scoville scale over the years unfortunately. ) I do actually have a lot of collector sauces from Blairs which I have always found to be the industry standard. This is a picture of my Blairs 2am sauce:


And here is my most insane sauce.....not available to buy anymore but thing thing has put anything else to shame that I have tried previously. Not to mention that the warning label is the best label I have ever seen on a hot sauce. 3.5 mil Scoville FlashBang.

does the flashbang taste good, once the burn stops? or does the burn never stop?

 

My nephew did that challenge. He was on the tile floor for 2 hours.

 

I did a hot wings challenge with Dave's Insanity sauce. The very first bite my throat closed up and I was unable to swallow. The burn was for real! Milk, ice cream, even sour cream didn't help. The only thing that worked was about 8 ice cubes, one at a time, swishing it around my mouth till the burn went away.

 

Using OC extract is cheating.
