The Fine Line Between a Bro Truck and an Outdoorsy Truck

This was a recent discussion between the GF and I. She thinks the storm trooper look is very bro and I think any sort of roof rack or shell makes it outdoorsy...

98% of the time my truck is covered in dirt, cow shit, fish blood, deer blood, my blood. Fishing gear, spear fishing gear, hunting stuff, camping stuff always floating around the bed. No pic necessary, my trucks meant for the outdoors

 

I think you need to realize, the "bro movement", is typically a California thing. You call someone a "bro" or "bro ho" outside of California, and you're sure to get a weird look.

 

What is a bro?

 

As long as you don't have rockstar rims, monster stickers, and an overcompensating lift where you need a ladder to get in the truck, your Tacoma will fit in the outdoorsy category IMO.


If you aspire for the Bro look, be sure to grab a pair of truck nuts and wear your favorite affliction shirt.

I think if you keep the blocks and spacers away and keep the battle wounds from the trail its an outdoor toy

 

This is a bro truck I saw on the interstate a few years back, think I threw up in my mouth a little. What a waste of a 4x4! There are x-runners for this shit.

 

Bro trucks are characterized by having a lift with large tires and mirrors that stick out too far for no reason other than to attain the bro-therhood look. These trucks never go off road.

Here is my stormtrooper Baja all Bro'd out. And the broing of the Tacoma is certainly not just a CA thing, I seem them EVERYWHERE in ID, MT, and ND, except the woods and in the dirt.
