Has anyone found any good deep sounding exhaust for the 3rd gen Tacomas? Something that doesn't sound like a dodge caravan with an exhaust leak... there's gotta be something out there. Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

Unfortunately there isn't really any system that makes a Tacoma V6 sound like a Dodge 440 V8... :pout: I vote for stock.

Your profile tag line is awesome.

Got an 18" straight-through magnaflow with a 4" tip dumped behind the axle. Had it for 10 months or so, its pretty mild and IMO it sounds good. Had a shop weld it in, whole lot cheaper than these bolt-on catback setups. My commute is an hour one way, 4 days a week, and it's barely audible at highway speeds.

I like my TRD exhaust a lot.

Loud exhausts sound like shit on these trucks.

YotaWerx Blackhawk 2.0 tuned. Typer Auto tail light guards. Rough Country tri-fold tonneau cover. Start-X remote starter. Injen CAI. MBPR Armor Plus high clearance exhaust.
"Best" is totally subjective, but I have and like the MBPR Armor Plus high clearance exhaust on my truck. Deeper sound than I expected from a v6 honestly.

I'm usually one of those people that says you can't make a v6 sound good, because it's mostly true. But I did get the TRD exhaust on mine after hearing it on another taco. It sounds deeper and only a little louder so it's not obnoxious when driving.

TRD or Borla s type, both have vey similar tones but Borla is a cunt hair louder.

Both have nice mellow sound and not drony at higher RPMs.

No highway drone either, very nice it has a quality sound. Kid at work has a honda hatchback with a fart can on it, good God that sounds ridiculous~!
