I posted on here several weeks ago when I got my 2021 TRD Sport RWD DC. Been loving it ever since. Yesterday I got hit head on by an F150 that crossed center line. Her truck is totaled and she has serious injuries I was told. My truck is totaled and yes I have injuries too. I’m convinced that had I been driving my old Dakota with one airbag in steering wheel it might have been much worse. I will post my before pic of my truck and then couple after the wreck. And then the red Ford that hit me. I’m thankful to be alive. Soon begins the search for replacement , low miles, perfect paint, etc. I was really loving this machine. Be careful out there Folks.

Good god that was hard hit!
I’m glad to hear you both survived though!
Focus on healing, the mess of litigation, and the new truck third.

Dear Lord, I thank God you’re relatively OK.
I got cold chills when I saw your truck.
I wish you all the best and your healing and your new truck search

I’ve bolted some stuff to it *lists cool stuff here*
Wow. Thoughts and prayers for everyone, the trucks are just stuff. Although as you stated the newer, safer truck seems to have been a blessing. Good luck with all details moving forward, take time to heal not only physically but mentally as well as I’m sure this is taxing in many ways.

Thanks group, and driver of other car is 18 year old girl that just made a mistake or bad decision. I know she will be forever affected so I’m not hating.

I’m glad you weren’t in the Dakota too…..that’s an older design and doesn’t have the offset capability the newer trucks have.
Your guardian angel was watching over you, glad you’re here to post this!

Glad you made it out of the high speed hit, many don't. What was she doing updating her Instagram, drunk or texting?

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
That's an asshole statement. She fucked up. It happens.

OP: Glad you're OK, the truck can be replaced. That's a damned hard hit.

First, really glad you were able to walk away and lived to tell about this incident. Second, an error doesn't become a mistake unless and until you refuse to correct it; I think this is one of those life events that only has to happen once in order for the 'lightbulb moment' to be at the forefront of her thoughts going forward. Trucks homes and material possessions can be replaced, the loss of life cannot. Grateful (all) are on the road to recovery and healing mentally, physically and emotionally. Be well

Well, I was looking at old Land Cruisers, but after seeing those photos maybe not. OP - glad you’re well, it’s a great public service announcement. you posted here! And I get it.

I also very much respect your point of view and feelings regarding the other driver, many good humans do exist here!

Putting innocent people's lives at risk cause you can't stay in your lane deserves much worse than that
