I'm thinking on getting one of these and putting it in my 3rd gen pro grille. I see a lot of these made for 4runners and FJ cruisers. Just wondering if anyone knows why you don't see them often on Tacoma's?

I think it would look awesome on MGM, with a pro grille.0977fc7074_640.jpg

Dunno.. but I haven't seen any "TOYODA" sticker either.. maybe Tacoma owners are progressive and less nostalgic.

What is the size on that emblem? Can the OP post a picture next to something for scale?
EDIT: Oh, I see you do not have one.....

Progressive and nostalgic? Naw. Turd gen owners are too busy bitching about squeaks, and creating new threads about recalls and other shit to bother caring about putting stickers and badges on their trucks.

I bought one of these to put on my grill or below mt tailgate handle. They were too small and looked cheap. They are on my tool box. How big is the TEQ placard and is it metal or plastic?

Ok so the teq grille emblem is approximately 3.5" in diameter. I spoke with the seller and he said it should fit a pro grill.

Can anyone with a pro grill maybe take a minute and grab something roughly the same size and see how it fits in the grille? I was thinking I'd put it on the lower right side of the grille.

It's not actually TEQ. It's one of the origin Toyota icons. Apparently it's Japanese writing for Toyota.

I don't agree. We have plenty of TW, military, vendor, OHV, and various things pissing on jeeps stickers.

So 3.5" is about the diameter of a medium coffee lid. If anyone reading this has a pro grill, could you take a picture holding something like a coffee lid up to the grill to see if it'll fit ok? Pictures would be stellar!
